MR GERALD WISEMAN

Mr Gerald Wiseman. He is a “shulmensch,” modelled on members of the Yeshurun shul in Edgware, as I remember them from throughout my childhood and beyond. Gerald Wiseman works in property, and goes to shul on most Shabbat mornings. He is not one of the honorary officers, however, but does get an aliyah quite often. He is a well-liked member of the Yeshurun community, and his son, Mark, is about to have his Bar Mitzvah. His wife, Cynthia, is upstairs in the ladies’ gallery…..
