I’ve just finished the illustrations for Part 4 of the Bible for Children; Bamidbar (lit. In the Desert, or The Book of Numbers). It is published in German, by Ariella Books, under the title “Erzahl es Deinen Kindern,” (Relate it to your children), and the text is adapted by Bruno Landthaler and Hanna Liss. This new volume is due out in November/December.
For me, it continues to be a privilege and a pleasure to work on this project.
As with the previous books, I managed to do all the illustrations as original paintings on canvas, with no changes in Photoshop. Any changes were done on the original artwork, so what’s printed in the book is exactly what’s on the canvas – nothing added, nothing taken away….(except for the cover).
