Description
Short Torah reading from Parshat Yitro:
It came to pass on the third day when it was morning, that there were thunder claps and lightning flashes, and a thick cloud was upon the mountain, and a very powerful blast of a shofar. The entire nation that was in the camp shuddered. Moses brought the people out toward God from the camp, and they stood at the bottom of the mountain. And the entire Mount Sinai smoked because the Lord had descended upon it in fire, and its smoke ascended like the smoke of the kiln, and the entire mountain quaked violently. The sound of the shofar grew increasingly stronger; Moses would speak and God would answer him with a voice…. – Exodus Ch 19
Canvas Print of Biblical Art: Parshat Yitro.
I offer this art print from the Book of Exodus as a museum-quality print on canvas. In this artwork we see figures in a semi-circle around Mount Sinai. Moses is climbing up the mountain, while the presence of God manifests, and the letters of the ten commandments are shown unfolding from the firmament.
You can learn more about the Torah Parshot at the excellent and extensive Chabad site here.
And here you can see my other Biblical art from the Book of Exodus.
